Training

Premiere People has had its REC accredited training programme for many years and training manager Suzanne Holmes believes it benefits their staff and the company. Our induction programme includes an induction course providing information on legislation, the history of the industry, and details of the current recruitment market place, as well as courses covering core skills including interviewing, telesales and client visiting. There is also specific training for people working on the temporary and permanent desks.

The courses are in addition to a structured induction programme that consultants complete in the branch with the help of their branch manager.

Once you have worked with us for six months and attended the required courses, you can take the REC examination. Our pass rates are exceptionally high and we will provide enhanced support to help people to be successful. This gives you a nationally recognised qualification and proves to your clients that you are trained to offer the service you do.

The knowledge you gain helps you to gain the advantage over your competitors and helps you add value to the service you give your clients. As with all good companies, the training never stops – the company boasts Investors in People status in recognition of their ongoing efforts to train and develop their staff. Our most recent IIP assessment confirmed that:

  • The willingness of both management and staff to share their knowledge, good practice and expertise helps with the development of the
individual, the team and the organisation. This also makes People feel valued and supports a positive working environment.
  • Premiere People are also offering The Certificate in Recruitment Practice in conjunction with the REC for more experienced staff.
  • The company believes that giving the right training to staff from the outset will ensure not only a top class service for applicants and clients, but job satisfaction which can help reduce staff turnover and improve the view of the industry as a whole.
